Is Homera really free?
Yes. Listing, searching, chatting, and visiting are free for both sides, and there is never brokerage. Down the road we may add optional paid services (like premium agreements or faster verification) — but the core promise doesn't change: no commission on your rent, ever.
How do you verify that a lister actually owns the property?
Owners submit government ownership proof (sale deed/registry extract, property-tax receipt, or utility bill) and complete DigiLocker-based KYC. Documents are checked before the listing goes live and re-verified every 12 months. No valid proof — no listing.
What stops brokers from just signing up as owners?
Ownership proof stops most cold. For the rest: KYC ties every account to a real identity, listings are capped per identity, reposted photos are fingerprint-matched, and an AI fraud agent flags broker behavior patterns in listings and chats. Confirmed brokers are blocklisted by identity, not just by account.
Is my data safe?
Documents are encrypted at rest, sensitive ID regions are masked before any automated processing, and personal data is never sold. Chat numbers stay masked until you share them yourself.
When does the app launch, and where?
